Satyug Darshan Vidyalaya celebrated its 19th Founder’s Day titled “Samay Ki Pukaar” with vibrancy and life being propelled into magnificent and reverberating celebrations at its auditorium on 23 October 2019. The mentor of Satyug Darshan Trust ,Shri. Sajjan Ji was the Chief Guest for the special event. He was accompanied by Smt. Rashma Gandhiji (Guest of Honour), Managing Trustee, Smt. Anupama Talwar Ji (Special Guest), the Chairperson ,Satyug Darshan Sangeet Kala Kendra ,Trustee Shri Kamal Nagpal ji, Shri. S. K. Sachdeva ji, Chairman SDIET, Smt. Miera Taneja ji, Chairperson SDIER, Shri. Mohit Narang Ji, the Chairman, S.D.V and Dr. Ms Jaishree Bhargavaji, the School Principal. Dr. Mohd. Noor Deshmukh, Principal SDIET, Dr. Abdullah Ahmed, Director IIHM and Ms. Devina Nigam, Principal Jiva Public School also graced the ceremony.
All the guests were escorted by the school Bagpiper Band. Entailing the bio friendly welcome of the chief guest and other dignitaries, the programme commenced with the lighting of ceremonial lamp by the Chief Guest, reverend Shri Sajjanji , other dignitaries and the school Principal. The scintillating afternoon was filled with rhythm of classical and western beats when the school orchestra began their spectacular presentation. It was followed by a welcome dance which created the spiritual aura at the venue. The school Principal, Dr. Ms Jaishree Bhargava extended a warm welcome to the dignitaries and presented the Annual School Report. She read out the achievements of the school – both Academic and Co-curricular and wished success to the students who could not make up for the prizes . She also announced the concept of Weekly Day Boarding. It was followed by the heart touching Ballet , `Samay Ki Pukar’ ,highlighting the utmost need and ways to curb materialism and to create a golden era . The spell-binding performances were applauded generously by all. It was followed by the prize distribution ceremony. The achievers were felicitated for academic excellence as well as Co Curricular Activities by Smt. Rashma Gandhi ji, the Managing Trustee and Smt. Anupama Talwar Ji, the Chairperson of Satyug Darshan Sangeet Kala Kendra.
The Ballet resumed its journey bearing the depiction of the various stages of a man’s life and the importance of time. The most riveting performance which drew an unceasing applause was the ‘Bhangra’. The programme was an amalgamation of various hues befitting the theme wondrously. Theme based dances and Group Song captivated the audience. The props and costumes added colour to the festive occasion. The two hour long Cultural Show held the audience in awe and left them enlightened as the show culminated. The much awaited moment was Aasheervachan and the prize distribution by the hon’ble chief guest, Shri Sajjanji. He blessed all hearts and souls with his soothing words. He also praised the remarkable stage performances of the students and the tremendous hardwork behind them. The Chief Guest felicitated the students for their outstanding achievements and admired the unprecedented efforts of the school for offering the various avenues to the students to display their versatility. He urged the students to hone and sharpen their talents and potentials to not only carve a niche for themselves or bring laurels to the school but also aim to work for the nation and humanity. Siddharth Sharma of class XII A was honoured with Principal’s Cup of the Year. The Nationalists, Ma. Vishal Baisla, Ms. Sapna Chouhan, Ma. Sagar Chouhan & Ma. Shubham Choudhary received Sports Awards instituted this year for the 1st time. Ms. Rekha Batra & Mr. Keshav Shukla received awards for best average in their subject in Class X & XII respectively. Mr. Anil Sharma was felicitated for producing 4 National Players in Weight-lifting & Athletics this year. The Vote of thanks was proposed by the Head Boy of the school, Master Siddharth Sharma. The memorable event culminated with the national anthem. The parents left the auditorium with some unforgettable memories.
